Man, these things should be illegal. If only for the fact that some of your ticket money goes to a private enterprise. If you have not commited a crime against this enterprise, how can they take your money?

haha, I was just coming here to post this. My wife's father works for MoCo government, and he handed me a list of locations with a stern warning to be careful.

The image posted is only a portion of MoCo that is adding speed cameras. I was forwarded the email below from a friend

Fyi- New Speed Camera Locations in Montgomery County!

"The launching of the Safe Speed automated enforcement program adds
Montgomery County to a growing list of communities worldwide that use
automated speed enforcement to reduce traffic crashes and save lives.
The program is the first in Maryland to enforce speed limits of 35 mph
or less in residential areas and school zones. Speed cameras provide
police with one more tool to protect pedestrians and other motorists by
targeting aggressive driving behaviors. "

Breaking the law is breaking the law. Personally i wouldnt mind if they installed the camera system like they have in London. It has cut down on crime and helped to identify criminals walking down the street...
