advice? I hear the Meguiar's UniGrit is good stuff - better than the 3M. Depending on what kind of flattening you need to do, start with 1500 or 2000, then move your way up to 3000, which should come out fine with a PC, cutting pad and something like Menzerna PowerGloss or Optimum Compound. Move to a finer pad/polish combo and you're set.
