With the new movie coming out, The Moth Man Prophecies. They say its based on a true story??
From what I found out on the net, most of the Moth Man sightings seem to be based near Point Pleasant, W. Virginia. Anyone here from around that area that can help put this myth to rest?? Or any personal stories to share regarding any encounters with this Moth Man?

I saw that flick, scared the crap out of me. Just that weird supernatural freakiness, like "What Lies Beneath", not slasher or anything. Believe it or not, I read the review and it led me to the studio's website and it totally blew the movie for me. I knew the whole story (way to go studio), but the thrill moments were pretty cool due to the sound effects.

It tells about the legend and all. My bro says the town is all geared up for tourists, kinda like Burkittsville (where I totalled my first ride) and how they got raided after the Blair Witch flick came out. I wanted to cruise out to Point Pleasant just for the nice drive, but it's about 7 hours away from me.
