I'm at Springhouse and I like it. Quiet and all that good stuff. So far the car has been safe and I don't really worry about leaving it out.

Its probably about 10 minutes from RMC. I'm actually there alot right now with the new building going up

Hello,
I moved here recently as well. Traffic here is horrible and random, so I'd say you're first consideration on where to live is making sure you're close to where you either work or like to hang out. My wife and I live in Portsmouth and it kinda sucks. The house is not bad, but you have to drive over a bridge or go through a tunnel if you want to do anything besides the stuff in Old Town (which isn't bad really).
My favorite part of the area is the Ghent area in downtown Norfolk, but houses are expensive and apartments can be hard to find unless you can go out there and look around.
The weather is too nice right now for a hardtop right now. Before I moved here, my car was parked outside on the street in downtown Savannah through two winters and I didn't have any problems.

Congrats on the car and job btw.
-James

You're coming to VA... if you have a Honda your car won't be safe. sad but true. Just make sure you can hear/see your car at night and you'll manage... or find a garage.
