Wow, that sucks. I have no idea what that was, but I know that my irrational paranoia suggests it has something to do w/ the new 10% ethanol fuel.

Either way, I hope you are able to diagnose and fix it quickly and inexpensively to get your car back on the road! Best of luck.

My thoughts would be fuel starvation, trash in fuel, etc. Mechanical breakage not likely...no restart if that was the case.

Electrical is also possible, sensor failure, etc. but doesn't sound terminal, no major repair, IMO.

Hoping its nothing major. The car is at the local dealership now, hopefully they get to it early today. It has to be fuel starvation of some sorts... ill let you know when i find out.

S2000 MOTOR GO BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Apparantly It was more severe then i thought. I dropped a valve or 4. They are taking the motor apart this week and ill see how bad the damage is. I had to tow it away from the Honda Dealership, beucase they didnt want to work on the car. They said that they would do it for 7900-8000 for a used motor, but would not take apart my motor to see what was going on. New place said 2000-5000. Either way it blows, just hoping for the best.

Dude, #4 failure is well known problem with the pre-2002 models. You need to talk to "woodwork". Send him a PM. He works for Honda.
