Lol, you guys are something else. But that's true about plucking another chic's garden too quick. I just got out of my engagement with my now ex fiance. She wasn't ready to grow up so I took my ring back. I'm better off single anyway. More loot to boot that's for sure.
now you can be single rolling in a fly-ass whip.....best wishes for you and your super car dreams!

I guess the ring can cover some service for the F430.

If I'm not mistaken, oil changes are north of those figures... closer to $1k. Obviously it includes more than just oil and a filter, but you have to have the service done at a dealership if you want to maintain the value of your Ferrari. Trying to sell one without extensive and complete records of service is a great way to piss $$$$$ down the drain.

Pulling into a Jiffy Lube with a 430 would be priceless.

To be honest, oil changes aren't really $1k on the F430's believe it or not. The 360 Modena's cost a bit more to maintain because of the older technology and whatnot. Especially the belts. Those things have to be replaced every 30k miles or so, and it isn't cheap. But it's recommended you have them looked at everytime you take your car in for service. The 430 uses a chain timing belt system so there's no need to change them. The oil change itself for the 430 is around $450 but tack in labor, running diagnostics the 100 point inspection, detailing etc etc that goes along with it, and yeah you could be looking at close to $1k maybe. What Ferrari owners or any kind of exotic car owners don't tell you, is the inspection and detailing parts that go along with their oil changes. The inspection is required and is part of your service work. Its not an average run of the mill inspection either. Literally every inch of the car is checked. They even inspect the Cavallino badge on the side of the car. And nearly all the Ferrari owners I know who take their cars in for service, get them detailed in the process. But I've yet to see $1k just for the oil change itself on any Ferrari. Granted if the car was taken care of and the maintenance was done on time that is.

Yeah they probably wouldn't huh ? But yeah as far service work is concerned, its very extensive and at times expensive. But I think a few of the owners overexaggerate how much they acutally pay for an oil change on their Ferrari's because its labled as an exotic. However, I do know some owners who buy cases of the oil and filters the dealer uses which is Quaker State 5W-40 synthetic and they do their own because they have lifts in their garage. Personally I wouldn't do that of course. But I see what you mean Skip, because oil changes can get expensive if not done on time.
