Don't you have to be a NASA or Navy employee or dependant of an employee to use their credit unions?

Yes there are certain restrictions with those two specific banks. I was using them as examples though. I know they offer great rates for used cars and refinancing. I qualify for membership with them because of my employer. However, I did not refinance with them. I actually used American Honda. There are always loopholes and not everything is impossible.
