I live in the Howard/Baltimore county area and need advice for a good body shop. Last night my passenger door was kicked repeatedly and dented (I have no clue who the b@stard was who did it--It happened over night). The paint is cracked in two places. So my guess is that I will need a new door and need a good paint matching job. I was referred to Mudgetts. Does anyone have any experience with them or does anyone know of any other suggested places? Thanks a million!

I used to live up in the Towson area and my uncle (who's a car fanatic) recommended "Ed & Jim's". It's just east of the towson area. I haven't been to them in a while, so I don't know if they still do good work.

Oh yeah, someone else in the Baltimore area posted on this topic (needing a body shop) a few months ago. I seem to remember he got a few replies. Try a search - I do remember that the thread was not in this forum - might have been in the S2000 Talk forum.

I had Good luck with Eurosport in Catonsville (410 788-8872). One months after buying a my 98 Z24 (daily driver) it was rear ended by a truck and did about 7K worth of damage.

Well, two years later the car still looks great, all the panels line up, the paint matches and there are no weird noises.

 

I appreciate the suggestion. I actually have an appointment for another estimate at the Carstar branch in Ellicott City. Since it is part of the same chain I hope to have the same luck as you.
