Default Need a Detailer

My BB s2k is driving me crazy. I bought the "big blue" waffle weave towel like an idiot, and it ruined my paint. It's just one big giant swirl. I've spent alotta money on products trying to get the swirls out, but either im buying the wrong things (dont have a PC) or i dont really know what im doing. Probably both. I really love the color black, but these swirls are insane. If you/someone you know can get these swirls/other minor imperfections out of my paint, please let me know!

thank you,
Brandon

Think about getting a pc. Probably cost you less than the price of getting it done professionally.

The big blue waffle towel is to reduce the chance of swirls. The problem is either your wash technique, other products or drying technique.

I went to shine car shine a couple months back, I just got the basic exterior detail which was $140. They did a decent job, he said if I got the full exterior detial it would have looked brand new. I planned on bringing it to get done again but some chick was nice enough to hit my car now I'm stuck in Navada till next month. Anyways I would recomend them. The full exterior detail cost $240. You can just google them if your interested.

yeah i looked them up earlier and wanted to talk with someone who had experience with them. my main thing is the swirls, i can live with the few small scratches, but the swirls are rediculous. so how long did they have your car, and what all did they take care of?

thanks for your reply man and everyone else too

They had it from open at like 7:30am till about 5pm. I would just call for an assesment or something and have the owner look over the car and tell you what he can do. I'm sure he can fix it, he's been doing it for like 30 years now. For the $140 I paid he did the basic exterior detail they have, I'm not sure all it entails but my car looked good. The exhaust looked new and the dull spot I had in my paint was fixed along with the swirls. I guess the basic detail consists of just a normal wash and wax and light paint correction from what i remember.

lol, I been hit twice already in two years. I hope there able to help you. The owner seems like a good honest guy. I'm sure he will tell you if he can or can't help you. Although I'm sure he can. If you do end up going to them let me know how they did and post some pics if you can, I'm looking to bring mine up there again when I get back to VA next month and get the full exterior package done.
