Default Need Help, Any good place in NOVA to fix a flat?

Hey gang,

Yesterday, I noticed I have a screw in the rear driver's side tires. It's dead center on the tread and not close to the sidewall at all. It's my All Season Tire, so I don't do anything stupid on these tires, just driving from work and back (around 50 miles/day), also, I only has about 2-3K miles on it, so it's relatively new.

I'm about to replace my wheels/tires for my summer wheels (my "bling, blings"), but I was going to store the all seasons for the next winter...

I still have one of those "sticky" tread and needle type of DIY (Do It Yourself) kit that I used it on my tires for my pick up last year. Should I use my DIY kit or take it into a repair shop? If a tire repair shop, any good ones you could recommend at NoVa/DC metro area? I live in Arlington.

Thanks,

LT

just tires does good work. thats the only place i have real experience with. some dealerships can plug the tire for you, depends how bad the damage is.

most places charge $15 to plug a tire.. you can buy the do it yourself kit for $10 and have enough to plug around 20 tires.

Thanks guys,

I asked this same question over at the S2KCA website as well, and they recommended to get it "patched" and not "plugged". I got it "patched". It was only $10 at the base, so that wasn't too bad. I just got it done, so I don't know how good/bad it is. I just have to give it a couple of days.

Thanks again,

LT
