Default Need help doing a vavle adjustment

I finally own my first 2003 s2000 and within a day of owning it I got the dreaded CEL. I have ready my eyes off on all the good and bad stories of the light fixes and Im still going through the trouble shooting. I really want to get to know some s2000 owners in my area. The car is sitting at 78k miles and I would like to do the valve adjustment along with the other trouble shooting I am doing. Does anyone have the tools and time to help me out? I will pay and assist. I am a helicopter mechanic in the navy so im pretty mechanically inclined but do not have the tools and im low on funds since I just bought the car and already put a lot of money into it.

Three VERY important things:
  1. Where are you located? The Mid-Atlantic is a big region.
  2. Is is a blinking or steady CEL? Don't drive it if it's blinking.
  3. What is the code for the CEL? You can read the code for free at most AutoZones and the like..
Don't mess with a valve adjustment or anything else until the CEL is fixed. You don't want the possibility of introducing new problems before the first is squared away.

I was worried that game might be too old for some of you.
