Default Need a Nissan hookup

No, I'm not getting a GT-R (though it's tempting). The SO is trying to get a moss green Cube SL with the SL preferred package (interior color doesn't matter, black or gray) and not get raped in the process. Very few exist with the preferred package, and every dealership in the area wants MSRP to have one transferred to them. There's $600 diff between invoice and MSRP, and I offered one dealer who said he was willing to deal $400 over invoice ($200 shy of MSRP). He came back with "Best I'll do is $600 over invoice"... uhh, isn't that MSRP, dipshit?

Anyone have a hookup in the Nissan world?

No help here, but I have seen sveral on the road. Personally, I think they look 10x's better than the Kia SOUL. Good luck, Dan!

i have a connection to quite a few dealers (nissan included).. but if they have to trade for the specific one you want - they're going to have to go MSRP or whatever it'll cost them plus their markup. If the car you want is on their lot - they can work a deal much better, but to trade with another dealer takes away all of their flexibility.

The best thing to do is find the dealership that has what you're looking for and negotiate with them.

The pickier (and harder to find your model) the more it may cost you.

Goodluck! I checked my connection's site and they didn't have the car in stock - so they would've had to give you the invoice plus a few hundred to import the car in.

You guys had what we were looking for, but sold it just a few days before we called It would have been a LOT more convenient, that's for sure.
