There's a guy around here that does plastic fabrication. I've seen some of his work with making different colored diffusers/lenses for the Volkswagen guys. Looks OEM.

With that said, I need someone(who's cleared their OEM lights) who is willing to make a sacrifice and part with those tacky orange diffusers in hopes of helping all of us here save hundreds of $$$.(instead of buying JDM clear headlights) Hopefully, he can reproduce the clear/frosted diffuser we lust over in the JDM and Euro headlights.

I'm not promising anything yet. It'll be worth it though, if he can pull through.

Thanks.

The quest is over! I don't know if I can make it to Hooter's, but I'll be at B&N around 9 hopefully. If you don't see me there before you leave, give em to machokow(John) or someone else who'll be at B&N later tonight. Thanks bro!

Seung - Appreciate the offer, but gotta have a set right NOW!

Will let you all know as soon as I get some results. Thanks again.

Ok....I have a bit of a dillemma here. James - I noticed just last night that the USDM diffusers are a different pattern than the JDM clears. The USDM has more of a stepped pattern where as the JDM ones have small ridges that go across. I'm wondering if the USDM diffusers would look alright in clear. THe only other solution would be to buy a set of JDM's and take em apart to copy the JDM diffusers...which I wouldn't want to do. Hmm..

I think that even with the different pattern, the USDM diffusers would look ok in clear. It just won't have that genuine JDM look....but better than no diffuser at all.
