I'm new to the area, is there any kind of "meeting" place that the S2k's have? I'm all about riding and hanging out... Jayson

 

Hi, welcome to the area. I'm in Hampton also. As for meets, I guess look for upcoming events and meets on this forum. I've been lurking and posting around here since October and everyone around has been extremely helpful and nice about mods, general S2K question, etc. I've also managed to get a few parts from other members for a great price too.

MARCH
1. Depending on weather, this Thursday I'm going on an exploration run in Pungo/Chesapeake/maybe NC.
2. Sunday the 7th there is an AutoX in Pungo a bunch of us will be at, then some more Pungo exploring.
3. Sunday the 14th we are having a S2000/RX-7 meet somewhere in Hampton Roads (looking like Pungo).
4. Sunday the 21st I think there is another AutoX.
5. Sunday the 28th is the March Meltdown in Charlottesville - be sure to make this one and also make sure you can VTEC your car by then

APRIL

1. Second Quarterly Mid-A Mod Day in Maryland
2. Wake the Dragon in Carolina/Tenessee
3. More Auto Crosses

MAY
1. More Auto Crosses
2. Possible OBX run
3. Possible Zaino meet
4. SCCA Road Rally


We do get together quite a bit in Hampton Roads! We do all kinds of stuff - whether it is just going out for dinner, helping each other with mods, or what ever comes to mind. We're all about the S2000 and strengthening the community around it!

Don't ever be afraid to chime in and always be ready to come out - no matter what we're doing! You are always welcome around here

 

There was a link / sticky / note at the top of the Mid-A boards that included an updated thread linking all sorts of up-and-coming meets. Not sure how much that has been kept updated, but Pointy's post here definitely has outlined what's currently on our collective Mid-A plates
