if you do some searching, you might come across a thread about just swapping the inner cv section from side to side, a lot of people said this completely got rid of the vibrations. this is a possible free fix, but not sure of how long the 'fix' would last.
edit: found the thread> click here
hopefully that can be of some help

The swap didn't work for me. I had to replace both inner cv's. Did it myself... I'm sure you could pay one of the S owners down there to do it for you if you are not inclined to do it yourself.
You don't need to replace the entire axle(s). I got my cv's from hardtopguy.com.

So you just swapped the inner CV's and not the entire axle?I guess that would work huh...just need to find out what parts i need and get some help..Cough: Tony: cough::
What the guy was talking about before is swapping only the cv housings from side-to-side.

Bill - I'd listen to Skip on this one. Probably would be a safe bet to just go ahead and replace the inner cv's with the help of our HR Pit Crew Chief, Tony.
Replacing the entire axles is rather expensive. If I'm not mistaken, it is cheaper to get a set of Driveshaftshop Stage 2 Axles (350hp rated) than a set of new OEM ones.

To the OP, are you lowered? If you are I would highly recommend drive shaft spacers AND a bucket swap.

Thanks for the link Fish...Did some reading up and I think i've got a good understanding of how to do it...I think I'll go with skips idea and just "replace" the inner CV's so that hopefully this wont be a reoccuring issue..well at least not for another 55k miles!
Now I just need to find out where to get the inner CV's and at what cost.Im assuming I can get these from auto stores? NAPA comes to mind...I'd probably have to sell a kidney yto get them from honda....
Thanks for the help guys..I really appreciate it.
