Unless you have Blizzaks, these cars do not do Snow. Some have tried, many have failed.

The OEM tires are Summer Only, when means they have little grip in the cold dry or wet.

Oh yeah. I have summer and winter wheels, but I got caught out in an early season snow storm on my summer tires last year. I felt like I was in a cartoon, the grip was so bad. Like, third gear @2k rpm could break the rears loose in a straight line with the lightest throttle. Drive your car around a little bit, and you're realize how insane that is I'm an experienced snow driver, and this was just horrible. Like being on ice 100% of the time.

Also, I work in Gaithersburg. We've got a pretty active group around here (though usually not so much in the winter). Hope to see you around sometime

HHmmm first car as S2000........ I hope your not planning to driving on the snow with this car.... if you do please becareful and avoid car accidents!!! Recommendation is go buy your self a beater car for winter!

When in comes to winter driving, ill be sticking with our Nissan Xterra, not the sexiest thing on the road but it gets the job done! any sign of snow shes coming outta the garage and the S goes in

Welcome! as Matt said - there are a few of us in the Gaithersburg/Germantown area.

with everyone else's warnings. Back ends are super twitchy and often that's all it takes.

Welcome! Nice color combo. I wont lecture you cause im sure you have heard enough of that. Lol. We have a very active group in the area.. slows down now till spring times but keep an eye out for meets, cruises and anyother gatherings. What r u plans with the car? Any ideas yet?
