New Mid-Atlantic s2k Owner
Hello! I'd like to introduce myself, my name is John i'm 22 and i've owned by 2001 s2000 now for about 6 months now.About me:
Born and raised here in Virginia Beach all my life i've only "owned" 2 vehicles one of which of course is my s2000 and a Ridgeline. Currently i'm working on my Bachelors at Strayer University and working for a Technology firm as a Network Engineer/Analyst. I'm also a Photography enthusiast (nikon fanboy) & a Mac user. On my spare time I play guitar, produce and score music/movies & xboxlive( Jaboc ;; add me!). Also I just ordered a Porter Cable setup through the wash and wax forum and just anxiously waiting till it gets in so I can play with my new toy.
About the car and any future plans:
I've been learning the ins and outs of the car driving it around town, highway and back roads to get a real feel for the car before I do any kinds of modifications myself. I must say I love how it handles and just the overall look of the car. The s2000 was sold by an original owner with only 42,xxx miles on it at the time. It was meticulously maintained (garage queen) with all maintenance records kept and slight modifications done. Currently it has a PRM Intake and a Tanabe Medallion Exhaust (sounds great imo). Future plans; the obvious wheels, tires, coilovers to start out with. (anyone selling some volks? or teins? ooh hardtop?)
I'm looking forward to meeting alot of you guys in the future at some meets especially the Starbucks ones :
: I know a couple of you guys from when I worked at Best Buy on Independence and when I played Counter Strike with Casper like 8 years ago. I live in the Salem High School area so you might have seen me around. I lurked around the "spotted" section every so often and noticed my car mentioned which was awesome. I also saw another thread about losing weight too and let me tell you ... I'm signing up haha I need to cut weight so I don't feel like a sardine in the car.Anyway Looking forward to meeting all of you and have some good times. I'll post pics of my stock car as soon as it stops flurrying outside.
TOPDOWN ALL YEAR!
brrrrr
