Right about the top of my head. I think the only way I can do anything is to give up the windshield and top, put in a full cage and only drive when it is sunny. If I drive top down while it's raining the rain smacks me in the forehead and hail really hurts so without a windshield I'd be in real trouble. I'm thinking a used Cayman might be nice in a couple of years.

Only thing that matters on a custom bar is that it fits you. It looks good and you saved some seat travel too.

I'm also curious to know how much they charged you as I might have to head over there before next season starts. Looks like a good bar, are there any bends in the primary diagonals that support the actual "roll" bar?

How much lower are the seats?

Did you try the broomstick test?

George
With my huge helmet im at the top of the bar... I need a good helmet.
The seats are lower... Im at the same height in race mode that I was in "pimp" mode. If you understand what I mean
And in the pictures I have the seat all the way back... with the seat that far back I can barely reach the pedals and Im 6 foot tall.

edit
I dont know if you all can see it, but there is a harness bar in there too... its hidden.
The bar was approx 1100 bucks, but if you tell them you want Cales bar, im sure it would be a little cheaper, cause they already know how to do it.
I figured the Lovefab bar, shipping it, installing it etc... would be about the same or more...
