Default New S-03's

I finally gave up my worn S-02's after 20,470 miles. Yes, they were quite bald in the rear. Didn't make for a fun drive down the Eastern Shore about 2 weeks ago in the rain. I scared the crap out of myself 27 times. Max speed in the wet was about 50 for me, but dry was awesome still.

First impressions of the S-03's are good. Maybe a little quieter? Steering feel is noticeably lighter. Roadholding unassessable so far. I hope the wet weather performance is what everyone says it is- judging by the size of the rain grooves, I am willing to believe it.

Anyway, ordered and had them put on at the NAS Oceana autoshop- ran me $692 plus $50 ($80 if you get the road hazard insurance) to install. They seem to have done an ok job installing, balancing, etc. If anyone is military and needs new tires, they are a valid option. Interestingly, the oem s-02's would have been a little cheaper.

See you guys out on the road... happy turkey day, too.

If you want performance close to the S02's with the S03's, run them at 37 PSI.
