I just got an email from an SCCA member about this new track in central VA:

This was posted by Chris Cobetto of NASA on Honda-Tech.com:

" NEW Road Race track 30min from Richmond

You heard it here first. NASA's got the scoop.
Dragon's Ridge Motorsports Park will be a 4 mile road racing circuit located 15 miles west of Williamsburg, VA. The first phase will be a two mile course with the other two being added within the first two years.I have spoken at length with the organizers. This is absolutely for real and they have the permission and the funds to pull it off.

Should be open in April of 2003. NASA already has dates.

Check out there website: http://www.dragonsridge.com

Has anyone heard about it?

Did anyone fill out the form on the website to receive information? I did, but I couldn't tell if it worked cause I didn't get a response or get redirected to another page.

I told them the S2KCA might be interested in using the facilities a couple of times a year. We need to get working on the Central VA chapter!

I submitted my interest in receiving a membership packet and was prompted with a separate dialog box over top of the submission fields indicating, "Thank You.

I got the popup too.

Someone needs to take some classes or read a book on UI (user interface) design, though.
Yeah. I left a "comment" in the comment field to give the Dragon folks a heads up that some members here might not have received a good submission... Figured couldn't hurt...
