An update for you guys, she is doing great now. She is still in intinsive care, but she has had a few surgerys and they have all went well. The only major things she has now is surgery to put the bone back in her head and a tube to send spinal fluid from her spine to her stomach. Becuase of her spinal fluid leaking, they said that woudl be permanent, but they dont act like its a big deal. She still can't walk or anything like that, but every day is getting better. She seems to respond to any questions asked and talks more and more every day. Hopefully it wont be too much longer before she is able to go to rehabilitation.

I know this is good news and she is recovering...and I am very happy to hear that... but to hear the details like this makes me feel uneasy too...

Wishing her and everyone all the best

She definatly has a long road to recovery, but she has made it through so much already. A good and a bad thing, today when someone told her she was going to be alright, she said "no im not". She is getting to the point now that she understands just how bad everything is/was. Throughout the day today, she has tried to talk more, but she acts like she can't think of the words to say. She gets frustrated. There is def. damage done, but the people at the cloogey rehabilitation center are suppose to be the best on the east coast for helping children with brain injuries. She is at such a young age that her brain can re-wire itself, and it will take time, but it is looking promising so far. God has definatly answered our prayers and it is a miracle that she is where she is right now.

Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Update for you guys. She has been moved to the Kluge Center for Rehabilitation. She is an inpatient there and they expect her to be there for a month or so, but she may be out sooner. It is amazing how much she has recovered. She seems to remember almost everything. She may have some problems with short term memory, but her long term memory seems to be intact. They say that things will continue to get better. Physically she gets stronger and stronger everyday. Her left side of her body was having trouble, but it has made rapid growth over the past week. She still can't walk, but she is sitting up and moving all around. She talks non stop and she still has her great personality.

The doctors can't believe how great she is doing, its nothing but a miracle. Upon anna getting to the hospital, the call to her father was that he needed to hurry up, because he had less then an hour to see his daughter alive... they did surgery, but had almost zero hope. It has been shock after shock for the doctors and the only explanation is God. Thank you all for your continued prayer.
