I try to wave but recently the ones I've been seeing (at least the last 3-4) are older ladies driving S2000s...I don't want to look like I am cougar hunting

I think it's funny when I wave to people with stock s2ks and they look at me like I'm crazy, but you'd think it'd be common sense to wave back.

 

Imagine that.... seems like a lot of people today are lacking that

 

owning s2000 doesn't always mean you are a part of the "community."

flipping off at someone who's waving at you is crazy though.

 

It seems I'll get waves back from any driver who appears to be under about 35 years old. Anyone much older than that apparently don't notice you at all, let alone wave back. To some of these people the S2K is just a "weekend toy" and they probably haven't really even thought about the fact that it's a Honda, let alone an S2000...all other roadsters look the same to these type of people! Seriously though, there are people this oblivious out there!

I ride and for the most part that's true. Although there are some stuck up Harley Riders and some stuck up (I wear full leathers on the street) crotch rocket riders who won't wave.

 

Maybe you should wave anyway. Might be a win win situation

 

I don't know where you are.. but not up in the DC area.

Not everyone, but quite a few snotty peeps who don't know how to say hi.

 

If I dwelled on the fact that it's a Honda, I would've sold the darn thing. Honda hater here.
