north9586: No..the echo didn't have a bra... The mall huh? COOL!! Is your car the darker silver one with amuse style hood and the red emblems? If it is I saw your car the same day. I work at Tobacco Leaf in Arundel Mill Mall. Come in for some nice cigars haha. Thanx for the comments on my car!!

'smyroad: HAHA I guess so...driving a echo is ashame...but I won't give up the chance to crush his skull into his exhaust outlet.

wake88: yea..2000? Damn that must've been some damage..I'm sorry to hear that. How did your paint come out? Can you notice the difference?

RM 4 2: Plain ignorance...there are a lot of people that shut their brain down at night and forget to turn it back on the next day. We just have to pay for it...thatz what sucks.

P.S. Anyone know any good body shops around this area? I know Pie's Auto Body does a good job but their kinda booked.

I say we find the guy and string him up! Too bad I'm way over on the west coast.

Same thing happened to me with a brand new Prelude I owned at the time. But the the car I parked next to was a Ford F350!!! From now on, be pretentious...find that spot in the parking lot far, far away with no one else around. That's what I do.

That is exactly why I don't park near ANYBODY. I will park 5min away, just so there is not another car on either side of me. Is it a pain in the ass...yas. Do I have door dents...NO. Also, I am the type of guy that would plant a nice size 9 footprint in the offender's door. So I jsut avoid the situation all together.

even if you park 5 minutes away, people will come park next to you and check it out and all of a sudden you've got a door ding. I can't stand inconsiderate people. My Mini's got a nice ding on the passenger door and it was the only car parked in the back of the parking lot!

welp - so far I had my car keyed on the hood and drivers side door and a rather large dent (about the size of a softball) on the trunklid, all random - I have no enemies. Fixed beautifully now, but its 75% new paint and clear coat on my S. There will always be ignorant people no matter where you are, just a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sorry to hear about the dent!

They did some work on my rear bumper (silverstone) last year. Took them 4 tries (no kidding) but my perseverence won and they eventually called out the BASF rep and figured out the problem. They tell me that the reason the first 3 attempts did not match exactly was because the clearcoat itself has to have the metallic flake in it. Whether or not I buy that, I'm not sure. But, in the end, they did match it up very well. It actually matches better than the OEM front bumper does. Ask for Howard Beaver, he might remember all of this.

State Farm backed me up on my complaints- even sent the claim rep with me on the last trip. But one thing I learned, was if you're with State Farm, don't take the check yourself and pay for the repairs. They now have a type of guaranteed repair program that is only valid if they pay directly (or something like that).

good luck.

cravenj: F350? whoa what had to've been a hugh dent...And yea...I up for the stinging up part. haha

SaNgO5: The Shop huh? Whatz the job thatz been done? check PM

tenblade2001: I try not to..but dumbasses are always gonna find you no matter where you are. But yea, it helps to take all precaution on my part as well.

genxpawn: A Mini? I read some reviews on that...I heard that it was a pretty fun car to drive around town and supposely have a good overall drivability to it than it seems.

Spa-MC: Dang...I'm sorri to hear that your car went through all that. How did your repairs come out?

evo s2000: Thanx and check your PM.

vmb: I decided not to use Honda collision center. When I first walked in I told them I had a Honda S2000 and they asked me if it had two or four doors. Obviously they don't even know what kind of car their dealing with and whatz even more surprising was that it was a Honda. Honda collision center? kinda scatchy...

Just got my car back on Saturday. Came out PERFECT!! I can't even tell if it was ever dented. (looks better than new actually). If you have a dent or something than take it to Extreme auto body. I mean, the shop looks like $h!t (it really looks $h!%%y) but they do excellent work and their REALLY REALLY quick. 2 days to fix mine where others takes a week (Extreme has guys working 24hour 7 days a week so your car always gets worked on until finished, although the actually shop closes around 6 ot 7). And their price is pretty good.

Pie's Auto estimate: $750 (give me a break)
Honda Auto collision Center estimate: $500
Extreme: $350 (HE!! YEA)
