NOVA Clear Corner Install by w1ngman
Thanks for the quick response guys to make this happen. I just ordered the chrome bulb kit from Ricks and will do a b4 and after photo since I don't see them actually on the car anywhere on s2ki (at least not that I've noticed).
^ I have those on my car currently. I don't think I have any good pics showing the difference. Definitely the way to go if you are going to clear the corners. Oh yea Dave's the man. First mod I did
Just offering a 'heads up' to anyone interested... ricosuave has been a super-'OG' member #277!!! on the s2ki.com boards. And he was my very first conversion customer. Apparently Ric recently wrecked his S2000 (honestly, that alone was news to me). Anyway, Ric sent me the following PM which I thought I'd pass along in this thread since folks considering my conversion services might be interested in Ric selling his USDM CLEAR diffusers.
If you are interested in the diffusers, PM ricosuave. If you are interested in my services to assist with moving his diffusers out of his headlamps and then into yours...I'm willing to negotiate

Man too bad I'll be in SC at a wedding that weekend.
W1ngman: $110 is your labor fee right? I just ordered the JDM clear diffusers from Rick's. What is involved in doing this conversion?
I assume:
1. Take front bumper cover off
2. remove headlights after disconnecting wiring and ballasts
3. remove bulbs
4. use a heat gun or the oven method to heat the butyl rubber seals enough to pry and cut the sealant free and remove headlight lenses from housings
5. Remove amber diffuser
6. clean any dust from housing with microfiber cloth
7. install clear diffuser
8. reinstall headlights
Anything I missed? I'm trying to decide once I get my JDM diffusers if I want to drive down to you or do this myself, thanks!
Oh, also: Has anyone you know of successfully used Amber LED bulbs behind JDM clear diffusers? If I do that will I need a resistor so it won't hyper blink?

JL...$110 is a special price on my labor fee that I'm offering throughout September to anyone that wants me to perform their conversion for them. I'm also extending this discount to the folks that are organizing/committing to the Oct 4-5 conversion weekend to be held in NOVA-area

You have the outlined the general steps, yes. There is good documentation available on Rick's Signature Accessories website as well. www.ricks2k.com
