Coming home took the Skyline drive...
Saw a AP2 Berlina you waved I waved. Don't know if you stopped, but I was leaving the traffic jam and you were just getting into it. There was a Bear 25 yards off the side of the road just hanging out.
Hey that was me. No we didn't stop for the bear, I almost got clipped by a lexus so I was glad to miss that mess.

Awfully nice day for a ride out there though

Yeah some of those people were not the most curtious drivers, when we first got there a bunch of people had just left their cars in park and both lanes were totally blocked. It was pretty cool to see the bear that close, but it took almost 20 mins to get 50 yards down from where I parked my car to past the chaos.....

I've lived in NoVA the past 17 years and I saw a wild turkey for the first time crossing route 1 about 5 months ago. I had no idea they were in this area. Apparently there's a lot of wildlife here that you don't see everyday.

I used to see a lot more, but the sprawl seems to to have taken out a lot of them. I still see hawks and a TON of deer, but the smaller animals like foxes have really vanished, or are roadkill

Where at on the parkway? You talking about the fake parkway or the one that connects to the franconia-springfield parkway? I was leaving the springfield metro friday. I had just picked up my girfriend and was heading in the manchester lakes area but I didn't see any other Ss at the time.
I was referring to the FFX Co Pkwy at Popes Head Road south to Hooes Road which is when I last saw the Suzuka.
