Somebody better fess up to this one:

(sighting courtesy of my friend Chris, driver of the M-Coupe described below)

So who was the male, driving a Silverstone AP2 (top down) on 495 last night around 7:30pm, who made a very misguided attempt to take on a silver BMW M-Coupe and more importantly the following white Porsche GT3?

What were you thinking!!!!????!!!!! Did you not think a GT3 and modified M-Coupe would pwn you? I received a call from a highly amused Chris immediately after the smiting, requesting that I find out who they smote.

If the S driver is on the boards, please fess up!

The owner might have just been out having fun. I'd race a ferrari if it revved at me. I wouldn't care. Hopefully there was some mutual respect.

I suspect the AP2 driver was just trying to have fun - I just wanted to know who it was

FYI, this is a friend's GT3. He lives right by me, just down the street from Rio Grande (Fairfax Corner)... Is your friend Chris P.? If so, him and the GT3 owner are friends...

Yes - Chris P. and I live down the hall from each other at the Camden. I have met Ken, the owner of the GT3, a coupe of times - he is one hell of a nice guy! His other car, a M3/CSL conversion, is nearly as stunning as his GT3. I hope I can get a ride in the GT3 one of these days!

Do you live in the Camden as well?

Yep, Ken's great. I live in the Fair Ridge CA down the street from him (we have the same parking pass). Why are those guys always going to the CF in Tyson's rather than the one, you know, that shares a parking lot with the Camden?

Because it sucks. The food isnt good, the prices are high and you end up standing in an over crowded very small area (if you're drinking). The one in Tysons is much better.

The prices are high and the food "sucks" at Tyson's, too And no need to drink and drive. It's true, though, it is way too crowded!

On a more topical note, I spotted two S2Ks this morning, both near Reston Parkway and Sunrise Valley in Reston, near 11am. Anyone here, perhaps?
