Passed a Berlina AP2 headed East on 395 this morning (Monday) around 10:00, I pulled past you and got a big thumbs up from behind tinted glass. I waved back but sadly a fire (figuratively) started at work today on a long weekend, so I was in a little bit of a rush to make it. In any case nice looking car, if I do say so myself, it is almost identical to mine, only difference I could see was the XM antenna.

Its always nice to get the wave, and it is a little rarer than I think it used to be. The again its not as good as the good old days, but then it never was.

Hope to see you around, and keep the wave alive.

A few minutes later, I at a GPW heading north on 7100, but dude didn't see me because he was on his cell phone

I have passed a GPW AP1 twice on Old Ox Rd. around 5:30 on my way home. Has a loud single exhaust and we exchanged waves the first time.

S2K's everywhere in Vienna/McLean last couple of days. There's a Suzuka that pulls into the CapOne drive every morning. I passed a NFR with gal driving on Chain Bridge Road -- despite a honk and peace sign from me, totally clueless! But then on hilly turn onto Old Dominion Rd at Kirby, a Spa driven by a guy smiled brightly as he gunned it uphill. Finally an acknowledgement!!

Saw a silver AP1 on the outer loop of the beltway this morning, around 9:30, vanity tags that spelled out inverted. (is this a sighting thread faux pas, giving out the tag, not that this is letter exact?)

Saw quite a few today:

- AP2 GPW near tysons 2 at around 10AM this morning
- AP2 silverstone with tags spelling 'insatiable' & AP1 NFR with carolina tags in the garage at mclean
- AP1 BB on route 7 around noon
- Rio on Centerville road around 12:30, gave a wave

Seems like I never see any for weeks, then all of a sudden they're all over the place
