I was getting an estimate for my rear bumper...

(Oh yeah, I was rearended by a lady who decided to flee the scene - but not before I snapped a photo of her car and got her tag #)

at the Koons Auto Body shop in Manassas. The guy looking at my car said he just painted the Berlina Black AP1 that a salesman at the dealership bought when it was traded in. He said it was really nice with a supercharger, so I went by the dealer to see it.

Has anyone seen this AP1? It's always at the dealership. It has some type of body kit (looks like Veilside) CF hardtop, exhaust, wheels, etc. Man, I bet whomever traded that S in is really missing it..it's slick.

Had a bowler last night swear up and down that he thought he saw my S in the parking lot of Aquia Town movie theater last Friday night around 2030. He proceeded to tell me it was a dark gray with black wheels(with red ring). I said it definitely wasn't me. Car wasn't on the road until Sunday. He also mentioned that his/her exhaust was loud.

Anyone?

Damn, sorry to hear about your trouble. Good work on your part snapping a picture Hope she got what she deserves

On a positive note, I finally got my S back from Leesburg Honda. They rebuilt my transmission, replaced an O2 sensor, and replaced the cat...all at no cost to me. Superb service and my car shifts smoother than ever before

Honda Care. Rosenthal would never admit there was a problem with the transmission in the car they sold me. They always said there was nothing wrong with it. Dealing with Tysons Honda (aka Rosenthal) is like beating your head against a brick wall. After two years, I finally gave up on them and took my car to Leesburg. They told me right away there was something seriously wrong with it. Turns out I had a couple bad synchros and needed two different gearsets replaced. Leesburg Honda treated me 100x better than I was ever treated at Rosenthal/Tysons

...but back on topic. I ain't seen

Silverstone AP1 in McLean on Anderson road making a left onto 123. Had aftermarket exhaust and wheels. I couldn't tell what they were because there was a car between us at the light and then you left too quickly on 123. This was around 2:30pm today

I have had pretty decent service with Koons of Manassas, but I did take my 96 Prelude to Leesburg Honda and they also treated me very well. Koons cant seem to fix the leakin my roof though; I have water rolling in where the seals meet each other at the top of the window. UGH.

Yeah, the woman did get what she deserved! I went to the Fairfax Police Station and they contacted the lady. She swore to them that she did not know she hit me(yeah right). Fortunately, the damage is very minor - her front tag/bolts put a dime sized gouge in my rear bumper. For me it was more of the principle; you don't hit and run. Period. The damage is $503.58 and the cops are making her pay for it.

In keeping with the thread: Suzuka AP1 going east on the toll road at 5:15pm tonight. Saw another Suzuka AP1 with an OEM AP2 wing and foglights on Pleasant Valley Road yesterday morning..

That and your car is quite a bit lighter than mine. We all look alike!
