I never let any parking attendant touch mine, either.

 

I keep a pad of paper in the car and write down and display the odometer reading as a subtle message to the attendant to park it and leave it alone. That seems to work.

There was one incidence where I took the car to Tysons Corner Honda for a free oil/filter change and they put three miles on the odo. I called them on it and got some free stuff as an apology (baseball cap, travel mug, fancy key fob, etc.).

But that doesn't beat my experience back in Chicago in the early 1990's when I owned an Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce... The shop put 50 miles on the car in one day and when pressed the 19-year-old technician admitted that he had taken his girlfriend out to lunch in my car!

 

I played hooky one day with my girlfriend and best friend one day... We drove into downtown Chicago in my buddy's dad cherry Ferrari 250 California Spider. Gave the keys to the parking lot attendant... it's a long story but it all turned out ok in the end

Spotted a AP2 Berlina Black with black rims and Ti-exhaust on 495N this morning at around 8am. I was topless and you rolled down your windows and we exchanged waves.... Nice ride.

Spotted a Spa today at about 8:00 this morning on Prince William Parkway....couldn't tell if it was an ap-1 or ap-2. You were headed in the opposite direction at a pretty good pace lol.
