Lets get a show of hands of interested parties for the 23rd?

We could meet at the Sheetz at the intersection of 15 and 55 (Haymarket) then hit up the backroads.

I'd be up for that, so long as it doesn't start toooo early in the AM or end after 6:00pm.

Yeah, it is the same weekend as the Dragon, which works out nicely for me since I can't make it there. heh.

So Thats it 2 other cars? That's ok with me.

If it's raining on the AM, I am not going. No rain and clearing it's a go.

Lets meet at the Sheetz at 9-30-45 (It takes me about 40 minutes to get there from Bethesda)

Leave at 10:00, figure on 4-5 hours total including stopping for lunch.

Heres the route, subject to changes if needed.

A few notes, these are fun roads, but at this time of year there are lots of cops out (211 especially) I will try and limit myself to no more that 5-9 over in these areas once we get further out it's safer to open it up a little.

I don't want another ticket in Rapahannok county, thank you.

Summary: 144.9 miles (3 hours, 31 minutes)

Depart Sheetz on SR-55
Left on Free State Rd
Bear RIGHT onto SR-647 [Crest Hill Rd]
Turn LEFT (South) onto US-522
Turn RIGHT (West) onto SR-641
Turn RIGHT (West) onto SR-606
Turn LEFT (South) onto SR-628
Turn RIGHT on Rt 211
At E Lee Hwy US-340 Exit, bear RIGHT (West) onto Ramp
Turn LEFT (South) onto US-340
Turn RIGHT (West) onto SR-675 [Mechanic St]
Turn RIGHT (North) onto SR-675
At SR-675, Luray, VA 22835, stay on SR-675 (North-East)
Turn RIGHT (East) onto SR-678 [Fort Valley Rd]
Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-55 [Strasburg Rd]
Bear LEFT (North) onto US-340 [N Shenandoah Ave]
SUMMARY
Driving distance: 144.9 miles
