Dear Mid-Atlantic Community Members,

Good afternoon! Hope that all of you are doing well.

I am writing this to let you know that effective today, November 6, 2007 I am resigning as Community Organizer for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Please do not feel as if this is caused by any of you. I joined the S2Ki and the Mid-Atlantic Community back in 2003 and have had a very joyful 4 years. However, the truth most be told. Over the past several months I have felt more distant from the community than ever.

Over my four year membership with this community I have made numerous friends, many of which I still plan to interact with in upcoming years. However, at this point in my life I truly do not feel any sort of desire to lead the community any further. The SoVa region does need some sort of leadership, someone to pull it together and provide it with the events that it needs. Unfortunately, this individual is no longer myself.

I feel as if right now I am more of weight pulling the area down than wings helping to lift it up.

I wish you all the best of luck in future months and hope that the next organizer will be able to provide you with the leadership that is needed to return this community to what it once was.

If you need assistance with anything, please do not hesitate to ask. While I am no longer an organizer, I still do consider each and every one of you as friends and am happy to help in any way I can.
