I have two openings coming up for Cisco/networking engineers (one currently open, the other will be open soon). The positions are located in Pikesville, MD.

At least one position (I believe both), require a four (4) year degree. Your degree does not need to be in comp sci.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.

Experience: Seven years' network experience. Four years of experience must have involved the design, integration and implementation of complex networks to include the following: EIGRP & OSPF Routing protocols, Cisco Catalyst OS, IOS, CSS OS and PIX Firewall OS, IPv4 and SNA and ATM and Frame-Relay configuration and troubleshooting. knowledge of all or expertise in, any subset of the following: Performance/Monitoring tools, Migration, HP OpenView (HPOV), Remedy, CheckPoint IDPS and Windows Server.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Applicants are subject to a criminal records check before appointment. A criminal conviction may be grounds for rejection of the applicant by the hiring agency.


Note: The years of experience isn't necessarily set in stone if you have the other qualifications.

 

Do you guys do any voice stuff?

We have some Video over IP, but no VOIP yet. We are looking to the future for it, but we have to make our network work more efficiently first.
