Hello, folks. I live in Frederick, MD. You may have seen me tooling around there in a Spa Yellow '02 that I just got a few weeks ago. What a hell of a car! Anyway, yesterday AM, I go out to the car, and I see a disgusting paint chip on the driver's rear panel right just behind the door seam just where you'd expect it. Down to the metal and a bit over 1/16 of an inch around. Dammit! Boy, am I pissed!! Why the heck can't people be careful!! Well, because it was right down to the metal, I wanted to quickly get some paint on it. I went to a detailing place nearby and pulled out my touch up paint. They applied a couple of coats with a fine brush and asked me to come back in a day or two to add a couple of additional ones. The paint is VERY thin (got it right from the Honda place). The short of it is: Do any of you know of a real quality place where I can get this properly repaired? Or should I just take it over to Criswell Honda in Germantown or Heritage Honda in Westminster to get it fixed. Thanks in advance. And, I'm proud to be part of this wonderful brotherhood (I use that term lightly -- personhood doesn't quite do the trick)

Not familiar with these 2 Honda stores you mentioned. However, there is the Shannon's Autobody in Gaithersburg with a very good reputation. Hope you get ur car fixed soon.

I've only seen 2 silver (one driven by an older man, and the other one is driven by a cute blond girl) in Frederick. Mine is a black/red 01. See ya around.

The Silver one driven by the older guy is owned by the owner of Wag's. A bar on S. Market Street. It's a great place w/ really wonderful food (best french fries & burgers!). I don't know about the cute blond -- (may have to check into that : ). I know of one other s2k -- a white one -- who was right behind me pulling out of a parking lot last week! Another older guy who was grinning ear to ear!

I see the older guy on 270 and 355 going N around Urbana all the time. I always high beam or wave, but he doesnt seem to notice though. Never saw the white one ... well, I might go check out the bar someday, maybe she hangs out there now see you around Marc.
