Default Peruvian Chicken Lunch, Anyone?

FASTSIIK and I have been talking about going to a small Peruvian chicken place on Alban Road for lunch. Nothing formal, just lunch and relaxation for an hour or so before we have to go back to work. I've eaten at this place a couple of times and the chicken is good and for $6.05 (that's including tax) you get 1/4 chicken and two sides and a can of soda. Yummm!!! Dat's some good eatin'...

I was thinking about going next Friday (10/20)around noon because almost everybody makes Friday the long lunch day. The only driving involved is you getting from where you are to where the chicken is and then back again. You won't need FRS radios or to pack a bag or lots of gas money, just an empty stomach and time for lunch.

If you're interested, please post here. Here's a link to the location: Peruvian Chicken Nothing fancy, nothing organized.

Hmm... looks like it's within running distance of the Springfield Metro... maybe I'll come.

I'm still the Mid-A village idiot. I deserve it.

It's El Rubi on Alban Road at noon...(that's similar to Mr. Mustard in the library with a pipe wrench, I think). Come on by and have chicken (pollo?).

I've been there a few times. Great food. Can't make it out for lunch today. Next time!
