Cale, I might be inclined to shy away from tiling the garage if for no other reason than it'll feel quite cold in the winter time. That's actually why I'll be adding those interlocking vinyl squares this fall even though I have a kerosene heater for the garage.

I could be wrong, but I believe Cale has installed in-slab radiant heat.

Nice and toasty!

yea, downstairs and upstairs, but not in the garage. Ill keep the door open to the house

Heating the garage with the tall ceiling might be a challenge, a ceiling fan might be in order. Additionally, lighting the garage might be difficult unless you drop the lights on chains or such.....or wall mount the lights, front and sides.

Just some thoughts.

I had a cool idea for my bar area in the basement. Its a brick up 3 feet all the way around, then a brick bar. I put those glass blocks in the bar, then Ill put some lights behind them. maybe have them flash different colors. The floor is gona be done in a tannish acid stain directly on the concrete. kinda like the floor of a Pizzaria UNOs

the area around the pool table is gona have a 12 inch oak ledge
