Default Prayers for Janet

I only have a second and feel guilty and selfish for posting without all the content included. But I also know that many of you are part of my family.

The children came upstairs around 5:15pm today to find Janet having a seizure. They called 911. Scared the crap out of them to see their mother eyes rolled back, violently shaking- saliva everywhere.

I leave work as soon as the paramedic calls me from my house. She was semi-ok getting into the ambulance, but apparently that's where it ended. Enroute, she had another violent episode lasting nearly twenty minutes. When she semi-came to at the hospital, she became combative; disoriented. She had to be further doped and restrained. She has fingernail-induced cuts on her palms/digits and a not-so-good-looking tongue.

She's been admitted and fully briefed by me that they screwed up last time. I feel comfortable with her not being transported elsewhere for the time. More pictures will be taken in the morning with the initial ones(tonight's) not really showing much. Then again, that's how it was last time.

I am not asking for prayers of healing, but of understanding. God has a reason. I am praying for the wisdom to understand His plan, if He wishes to share it with us. Also, do me a favor, tell someone you love them. Don't wait.

Thanks,
Skip

Skip,
I feel for you, your family and Janet. Though it was not a seizure, my mother recently experienced a severe asthma attack, which the doctor called a resparitory failure. Everything you just explained in your post happened to my mom, right down to her condition worsening in the ambulance. She was on a resperator for 2 days, machines making her breathe, so her body could heal. To say the least, I can relate to what you and your loved ones are going through.

There is no condolence one can give that will help ease the shock and heartache one feels seeing a loved one in those situations. Keep your faith and be there for your kids and your wife. In the end all will work out for the best.

sincerely,
Chris Ciccone

Skip, my prayers are with you and your family.

I can relate as my mother passed away via cancer a year and a half ago...

I am only now seeing some of God's plan in all the pain we went through. It's my prayer that you'll be constantly experiencing both His compassion and wisdom. Keep strong and there'll be sunnier days no matter what happens.

I pray for Janet, you, your kids, family and doctors. He is The Great Physician. Have faith and believe for the best and for Gods will but also that from this time you can learn something from it to better you (and her) in the future. Whatever you need just ask.
