Programmers wanted (Full-Time Job)
The company I work for is looking for another programmer... must be fluent in C as it pertains to embedded systems. Excellent pay, great benefits, awesome group of people to work with. Company is currently in the Odenton, MD area, but we're having a facility built in Hanover (down the street from Arundel Mills Mall) to be ready by end of the year.

We need someone who is comfortable hitting the ground running... while fresh grads can bring a lot to the table, they're probably not going to be a good fit for this position due to the wide range of experience/knowledge typically required of embedded jobs.
A feel for the hardware side of things (i.e., electrical engineering) is a pre-requisite for embedded jobs of this nature, so if you're not comfortable designing basic analog/digital circuits, you're going to stumble a lot.

yeah... im in the midst of finding jobs right now as i am in my senior year doing our capstone research projects. i've been interning at the QSS building in martingsburg, WV for the past 2 summers and they have offered me a full-time job upon completion of my bachelors, but i DO NOT want to live in martinsburg, wv.... absoleutly nothing to do there.. im in the military right now and they are paying %100 of my tuition and im thinking of crossing over to become an officer and gettin a couple years of active duty doing some programming for them as a good experience builder...
btw what do you do for your job?
