Default Question About Modifying?

How's it goin guys? I have a question about some mods I wanna do. I didn't plan on doing any kind of modding to the car mainly because of voiding the warranty. Intake, headers and exhaust is all I really wanna do to the car. But I might even consider doing some kind of forced induction later on. But if someone here can convince me that it'll be way more enjoyable to modify my car, then I might bring the checkbook outta retirement...lol. I already like my car as it is now, but I think the damn mod bug from the SRT4 I had previously, is startin to find me again. I spent way too much on the SRT and it had over 400hp to the wheels. I'm sure its worth it for many others, but do you think it is for someone like me?

exhaust/test pipe, yes but only for looks/sound. if you want power you'll need to go FI, stroker, nitrous, or ITB setup.

I would keep the car stock. It's almost perfect from the factory. You'll just be throwing money at this "addiction" and all you'll have to show for it is a car that's too loud, too harsh and eats up more gas. YMMV.

Depends on your definition of "power", which might have to change when it comes to this car. A quality IHE combo might net you 15-20whp on the S, whereas just a header might do the same on another car.

Not throwing your money away if you know where to spend it test pipe will cost you about $50 used. Then you can get a megan racing single for about $300 shipped used, or I can make you a single for about $200+your oem exhaust. Either way, that's not much money for a ton of weight savings and freeing up a good 6-8whp.

and a K&N FIPK or a just a K&N drop in filter+snorkel will add a few ponies too.

However that setup (which I have) is a bit loud. Here's an idea of what it'll sound like:

Wrong. A quality I/H/E setup will net you similar to more power than an ITB setup. Not to mention the massive amounts of tuning you'll need to utilize the ITB setup.
