Default quick getaway / vacation idea

My girlfriend's spring break is the last week in march, and i want to take her somewhere cool, but nearby. During the fall break, i received some ideas to go to charleston, SC, and it was a blast. so i want something near here. i was planning on taking two days off, on thursday and friday, have the weekend, so it would be a 4 day trip. any ideas?

I can go up and down two states, so it is Pennsylvania down to North Carolina, and out to West Virginia

HELP ME OUT!!!

For the complete opposite of the S2000, go the romantic horse & buggy route....here:

Lots of fun back roads....should not be crowded in late March. Here's another one, if you like the Chesapeake Bay area:

Too many places ....too little time

Inn @ little washington is toooooo expensive....

I don't really know what i am looking for.. something that is neat. like charleston was neat. A new town for me. Something that is different. I mean... orlando is different, but been there, don't that, so i am looking for a getaway... some bed and breaksfast at some area.. and the area is the problem... i don't know where...

A weekend in NYC is fun. It's just a 3 hr drive. Once you're there, just take
cabs where ever you want to go.

ok, i guess i should say that i am trying to keep cost down. Ny sounds great, but pretty darn expensive. plus, the s2000 is my only car, and i don't feel like rubbing fenders with those crazy locals...

*no offense to those new yorkers... **
