Default Radiator Fan Wont stop

Okay, so i drove to South Carolina on friday night and drove back on Saturday night. Aside from that nothing special has occured. So the problem is that when i went out to my car this morning it was dead as all hell. So i caught a ride to work and when i got home i went and got a Battery and replaced it. As soon as the ground wire touched the terminal, the Radiator fan turned on. Mind you my keys were in my pocket. So that is wrong. Umm, what could be wrong. And as for a temporary fix, pull the fuse (if so which one), disconnect the battery everytime i get out, or unplug the wire going into the radiator which i believe is the power source. Will the car be okay to run without its radiator til i can figure it out. I probably need to replace the fuse. Opinions, options, ideas?
TIA

Probably a stuck relay. Just start pulling the fan relays till it stops. in order to make sure that it is the relay just replace that relay with the same kind for something else

I would temporarily unplug the fan. You won't be needing it for few days in this weather. Just keep an eye on the guage if you end up sitting in traffic.

gauge doesnt work due to AEM Install. So i will just have to keep unpluggin the battery til i can get my hands on some relays and a thermo switch.

Does anyone have an extra thermo sitting around and/or know where it is located. And which ones are the relays for the fan?

just take out the fuse box cover. It'll tell you.

I don't think anyone would have thermo switches lying around.. it's not something that people usually have working spares of.
