Default Radio Code help

Hi guys, so had to get a new battery and realized I do not have a code anywhere! Does anyone have contacts at a dealer where I can call to get my code?

If you know for certain that it is the original head unit that came with the car, a dealer can look up the code for some $$$$$. Otherwise, it's a brick.

PM me with your VIN & I will get you the code on Monday.

If the radio has been changed you will have to pull it & get me the serial#.

Lets try it by VIN first.

Not sure if you are aware but Honda has an automated website to retrieve radio codes. For some reason it only works certain days/times of the week but if you have all the needed info you can do this yourself.

I am aware, but to get the device serial, I'd have to remove the HU. I was hoping someone like Arbez, could pull the code for me by running my VIN. If not, then I'll pull my HU.

Have you tried holding down preset buttons #1 and #6 and the power button at the same time?

yes do this and it will give you the serial number, not the radio code. Use this serial number to get your radio code by calling the dealership
