I also found a universal mount that goes on the passenger foot well for about $130 and a fire extinguisher for around $150.

So, who's running on Sunday in the modified class? That's the class I would run in since I don't have decent street tires. You'll need a securely mounted fire extinguisher and a fire suit to run in modified.

I found a universal mount that goes on the passenger foot well for about $130 and a fire extinguisher for around $150. A race suit is probably going to cost around $300 (didn't check the SFI rating though).
I'll be on my RE01Rs and not the R888's

I have a set of 17x9 +63's coming soon. I've been looking at autoX tires to mount on them, but I read that Redline made an exception to allow the BFGoodridge R1's in modified, so I might try those out for autoX and the Redline event.

I was referring to the rules below. You should get your extinguisher mounted. It's a good safety item to have when you need it. From what I read, Charlie used it on his M3 at Hyperfest.

All Modified Class vehicles are not permitted to have fully "gutted" interiors.

OEM Dash must be installed. All components associated with and connected to the Dash, must also remain. These include items such as, but not limited to: glove box, venting, ducts, OEM gauge cluster, left/center/right kick panels, etc. The heater core and assembly may be removed. If components are not installed, the vehicle will be required to run with a ballast weight of 50lbs as a penalty. The ballast weight must be safely secured to the vehicle and satisfy Redline Tech Inspection/Chief Steward inspection(s).

I use a Halotron fire extinguiser and a Brey Krause rollbar mount. Costs about $250.

Pete - which part of the roll bar did you mount your fire extinguisher? Thanks.
I mounted it to the passenger side double diagonal. I can reach it from the drivers seat. It is a 2.5lb Halotron.
