Well, I had a nice little chat with Mani on Saturday at the winery, and he mentioned this event....looks cool...I might be in for Saturday, being that I've never been on a track before...how are these events for first timers...?
Kidding aside, I think you can do this event (Saturday's HPDE) even as a first timer. Even if you have no experience, your safety and those of others really come down to what's between your ears.

Well, it'll be for $5 since it's just a friendly wager. Before we agree on anything, what's your setup for this weekend in terms of tires, suspension, aero, etc.?

Kelvin.Sign up for Saturday in the Novice group and insist on an instuctor(otherwise you wouldn't get one!!
). A rather large list of very experienced S2000 drivers will be there as instructors(George, Pete, Skip, Rob). Not sure if Keith will be there with his Ferrari or not. So, this is a good opportunity for you! Sign up.

Mani needs to buy my Sparco Evo...today.

I'm seriously thinking about it, will let you know if I can drop by soon and do a seat fitment.

I slept in Keith's RV at last year's RL event. I think you slept in Skip's trailer. I know I picked up some time after Keith gave me some advise on my lines Saturday night.
