Default REINTRODUCTION

Hey Mid-A s2ki,

It's been a while since I have posted anything, and for those of you who do know me, you may have been wondering if I still have my s2000. Well, I am still happily in an s2000 and this is my re-introduction meet & greet so to speak. For those of you who do not know me, your not missing much, however; I am probably the youngest SOVA s2000 owner, possibly the youngest Mid-A owner. I am turning 18 on May 7 and graduating from high school this June. I have owned the car for over a year now and love every second of it. Lately, I haven't been out and about to the Starbucks/Sonic meets due to me trying to finish school and working. Now that school is almost over, i'd like to become active in the community again. Many of you may know my face, but not me...this is due to my shyness more than likely, I am not saying I'm antisocial, I think it's just that I feel a little out of place being so young, and I feel as though people look past me as if I am just another kid out there. Up until recently, I went to Bass Pro Shops in Hampton every weekend.. I'm not the streetracer kid like a lot of those people out there are; I purely go out for the enjoyment of seeing different cars and meeting their owners. Anyways, I know many many many of you think "oh hey a kid driving daddy's car"...I have no problem with you if you think that, but I do indeed work and pay for every payment each month (I'd appreciate it if you didn't ask how much i pay a month for the car and the insurance - a bit personal if you ask me). I do not race my car, it's more of the "hardpark" deal - i'd like to have a car that still runs once i pay it off.

Anyways...enough about my life haha. Car is an '03 SSM with the OEM lip and spoiler. Car has 56,XXX miles and going up as it is my daily driver. I know many of you on the boards are excellent mechanics, and i know C Orey does fabulous work. Coming up on doing my 60,000 mile 'tune up' and may need some help here and there, so i'd appreciate it if i get some feedback of those willing to help. ((C Orey- need a valve adjustment soon, so if you read this, it'd be awesome if you can help)).

So thats pretty much it, just wanted to reintroduce myself and become active in the community again. Thanks for reading my life story. See ya guys around.
P.S.-s2ki is like an addiction for me so please do not get weirded out if i come up to you and call you by name (ex. Pete, Corey, ect..)..i just follow builds and updates and i hear you guys talking sometimes, so yeah, just a sidenote.

Thanks again everyone
-Dillon (hondadcw)

Welcome back!

There is no "e" in Cory.

Let me know when you want to get it done, and we can work something out. PM me or something.

You're definitely still in your essay writing mode, that's for sure. Your reintroduction is reading more like a personal statement! Nice meeting you... I'm sure I'll see you around.
