Its really not that bad of a job....we charged $45 to press out and press in a new one. Replacing the hub sounds pointless unless you drove the car for a long long lonnnnngggggg time with it being messed up. It's happened maybe twice in the last 5 years i've been doing machine work.

Well, pressing the bearing is only one part of the whole operation. You've got to get the knuckle off the car, and put it back on again too. A couple hours of labor sounds about right to me.

Not sure if they have much S2000 experience, but they did a nice job on my car. I can dig up their contact info if you want it, Dan.

For another option, George really likes this guy: https://www.s2ki.com/...st__p__19571106
Yeah, if you could find the info for me, I would greatly appreciate it..

Euro Werkes Improrts

There's pretty much no information about them online. I found them through some local business ratings publication my dad had. I took a chance and was happy though.

It was a poor attempt at a joke. All my fingers are fine.

I was thinking Gude was in Columbia for some reason.

Not sure I want to drive that far with a broken stud...

Haha, oops.

IIRC you're pretty safe with 4 lugnuts as long as you don't do anything crazy. There probably is somewhere closer you could go though.

If you are willing to drive, I think this place, and George's guy are about equidistant to you. I'd go to the other place if I were you, just because George has a lot more experience with them than I do with this Rockville place.

So true im having the same problem my self. What i did was, i went to lows buy a saw that cut metal I pull the studd forward Than the sawing beggen 30min of man power lol,
I thought That the new studd is smaller so i can squeeze it in but when i finally got the studd out their are no room. I even cutt off that back plate still wont work. You can make it work by forcing it in. But the problem is the new studd will be strip, no point even trying. So im going to go the route that replace wheel bearing even though i dont need it.

I wasted 2hr of my life for nothing i regrate cutting the back plate

This sounds like a pain in the ass. One of my bearings is going and is squeaking pretty bad, so I'm gonna have to replace it soon (any problem with not replacing it? just the noise?) Any suggestion on a good place to have it replaced in NoVA? $550 from the dealer is a lot
