As a new S2000 owner in Richmond, it would be awesome to get some insight from the more "experienced" local S2000 owners.

Where do you go to get your car serviced? I have gone to Mobile Auto Repairs in Gouchland and they have done a nice job with both the S2000 and Pilot.

Where do you go to get a better sound system? I have looked at Car Toyz on West Broad. Any other suggestions?

Any good local detail places that do not charge $200 for 3 hrs of work?

Finally, if you see a MY04 Red S2000 with OUTSTDN plates bunny hoping all over Pouncey Tract --- no way that's me!

You may be who I see in that area, most of the time I drive the beater. But on nice days I drive the S.

As far as service, WB Honda does a good job from what I hear.

You could take a look at CARRS on West Broad. If you feell like a nice top down drive up to Fredericksburg, I recommend Tweeter, they have done a great job on several installs, including mine.

Welcome the Mid-A, make sure you attend some events, always a great time!

I use Wallace Automotive off of Midlothian Turnpike and Research Road. John Hope is a Honda genius, I don't let anyone else touch the car.

Any decent detailing service you get will be around that price. You get what you pay for.

I'll be sure to rub my greasy little hands all over her next time I see her then!

I want to say w1ngman takes his to West Broad. Still the best thing to do(and it's easy on this car) is to perform most of the work yourself.

Yes, I strongly suggest WB Honda. And to that end, I only leave The Bruised Banana in the very capable hands of Brett. I could say more...but I've learned over time that perhaps less is more ...

For anyone in Richmond or near town who would like to have your S detailed for a very reasonable price, let me know and I will be glad to Zaino it for you . I do some detailing on the side and have done other Ss. Just let me know .

I use Mechanicsville Honda for service and have done so for the past 6.5 years. West Broad H is closer but I work in the East End and it is a more convenient location for me to drop off the car. They've never hurt the car or overcharged me, plus they always oooo and awww over it while it is there .

That's because it's the last stock S2000 on the east coast. 'Sup, Mikey?
