Hey....I recently found out there are a couple of drive-in theaters within reasonable driving distance. I thought it would be cool to meet up, catch a drive and go to the drive-in. I'm going no matter what, but having a crew would be better. C'mon skip, andyPeepee,Wingmut...anybody else in?

Where are these drive-ins (thought they went with dinosaurs and polyester leisure suits). Just curious if any of these drive-ins are located within a good range for the actual drive part prior to the drive-in part.

Also...hanging speakers over the window of the car is also a thing of the past now...right??? These drive-ins allow you to dial into the audio via your car stereo now, right?

They look the're located in pretty small towns, so there should be some good roads. This definitly merits more investigation, but I just wanted to throw this out there and see what you guys thought.

Ok, so we have wingslut and ff2shitforbrains....who else is in. Hey, there is one about 1hr or so outside of DC. I'll get a list of the cities and post the locations....we can choose from there. The last drive-in movie I went to was Dune! There was a really cool one out near Roanoke I saw last summer, it was in an old rock quarry,. They were showing something recent too...
