Gosh, sorry dude. I just did a search and found your thread. bummer; at least this hit in February and not in the middle of the summer (not that it is any significant consolation...).

Got out yesterday long enough to install a dead pedal and sill protectors from Coastal Metals and then a short but very sweet little drive. In Reston I saw a beautiful Spa Yellow S2000. I thought, "Man! that car looks better than mine (the ever conservative silver/red) why is that? Answer: it has no front license plate, no plate, no mount, no nothin'.

Have I been missing the chance to sin without punishment? Can you actually get away with no front plate? Anybody else doing this?

I sent e-mail to my State rep to support HB280 which would make front plates unncessary after 1 July (of course the creep never even answered). I'd take that plate off in a heartbeat if I found Virginia wasn't enforcing that law.
