when i parked my car on the street with my top down (i was picking up food from a restaurant), somebody threw an empty mini-whisky bottle into my car. thank goodness it was plastic and empty...

 

read the fine lines rashad, I checked my driver side, which is 2 tires, and my passanger was suppose to check her side, and she didnt see the can under the front tire.

Man from hearing all these stories, there are hating out there. Sorry to hear that.

 

i've been getting MAD hate lately.

im on facebook, trying to wish an old roommate happy birthday and i see posts from another ex roommate spouting all kinds of SH*T about me and my car ("I saw a red s2000 in DC the other day, but the owner wasn't lvn rght")
then at work, i was talking to one of my bosses saying that my license plates (LVN RGHT) seems to actually make a lot of people mad on the road. he says "yeah, and you have a red car - you might as well put a target on your forehead". this guy has said before that myself and another entry level are paid too much - as the other guy just bought a 128i.


i was so bummed, i started looking at '07 civic SI's online later that day. THEN, i go outside and wash my S. a 4yr old girl that lives next door comes over and says "WOW, your car is SO shiny! its more shiny than my parents cars... its beauuutiful!"

i just about fell over. -just what i needed to hear. i guess it all boils down to people being a shade jealous. not everyone, but a few.

Yeah, it's disheartening but really... Keep your heads out there. A little grease washes right off. A can under the tire is a silly prank. An empty plastic 1oz bottle isn't going to hurt anything.

When I FIRST got the car some rednecks in our neighborhood splashed Gatorade on the car from a distance. I was pissed, but what was I going to do? It washed right off.

Now, the punk ass kids that skateboard (attempt to... really can't, mostly just fall down) in our parking lot and I'm convinced put a shallow dent in my fender... That's another deal altogether. The intent is missing, but the damage is worse.

No sense in getting bent out of shape, getting hurt or in trouble with the law for some meaningless and painless offense against your "ride."

 

I had people hate. Someone asked me what kind of hyundai I drove.
