Not including the custom CF stuff, I see about $15-$20k of mods (supercharger, wheels, seats, etc.). It looks like a ton of time was spent taking it down to the frame and chroming it. I give him props for going all the way, not quite my thing, though.

I'm not so sure I would say over $200k was put into it, though... I can't imagine more than $50k going into it. And to say the custom paint job was put over the stock gray color? What car does he own again?

What? No hardtop?!?!?

Not my cup-o-tea... But.. As Mac stated, VERY nicely done. Not so sure it would rip up a track, though... All that chrome has got to be heavy...

Chrome isn't really heavy, it's usually the items that are chromed that have the weight to them. All of the chrome on his car probably weighs no more than a single pound. The fact that he chose to chrome the heavy stock parts was a poor decision, though... had he chosen to go the custom route (as he was so fond of pointing out) he would have some lightweight pieces machined and then chromed, powdercoated, or anodized. the only true custom stuff I saw on the car was the CF bodykit.

I'll be a little more generous on my pricing and give the guy an extra $20k in mod money... I picked through the images a little more closely and noticed a few nice details in there. The trunk itself has a nice feel to it, and I see several grand in work there. Still, just because you paid a lot for something doesn't necessarily mean it was worth what you paid... paying $50k for a Yugo doesn't make it worth $50k I like the CF tray under the body to cut down on wind turbulence... been thinking about making one of those myself.

I'd buy it and then do a massive burnout in front of him with those crappy Continental Tires

That guy used to post on here when he was "designing" some of the fascia pieces.

I don't have time to go through his listing, however, I have spent very close to $80k on my car. It is also gray.
